蟻塚　知都　Kazuto ARIZUKA

1997年福井県福井市出身。

木彫を中心に、人間の表現を研究しています。

地元が杉の産地であり、幼少期より木の美しさや素材の持つエネルギーに触れて育ちました。

その木が元々持っている素材感、エネルギーが人間の形と呼応し、より生命感のある表現につながるのではないかと日々模索しています。

Born in Fukui City, Fukui Prefecture in 1997.

I am studying human expressions with a focus on woodcarving.

The local area is the cedar production area, and I grew up in contact with the beauty of wood and the energy of materials since childhood.

Every day, I am searching for more lifelike expressions by matching the texture and energy of wood with human shapes.
